In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

1. The title of the magazine:
For the title of my magazine, I have decided to stick to the conventions of a rock magazine. For inspiration, I have used the similar magazine Uncut. You can see how there is inspiration taken from Uncut, in the fact that both names sound, ironically, raw and visceral, conventions of a rock magazine.

3. Costumes and props:
In the category of costumes and props, I have partly stuck to the conventions of a rockstar. i have accomplished this by having my 'star' to wear smart clothes that were dark, a convention of rockstars. However, in the props department, it is very unconventional, as I have never seen in a rock magazine before a mini piano be used as a prop, which makes slightly unconventional, especially as my 'star' is supposed to be a guitarist.

4. People:
In the area of people, I decided to try and deviate from the social norm by getting someone who didn't look like a rock star, but more like a casual down-to-earth kind of person. I decided to do this to challenge
